Who we are:

Manufy is the online marketplace that connects conscious brands and sustainable manufacturers from all over Europe in an efficient, transparent and – most importantly – sustainable way. By doing this we hope to be part of a future-proof industry, create more support for local sourcing, providing quality over quantity and helping businesses of all sizes grow. Manufy is currently host to more than 5500 brands and over a 1000 manufacturers, who find each other on the platform every day.

What we are looking for:

Our current platform is a webapp with a front-end and a separate back-end API. To improve our customer experience we would like to translate the chat part of our webapp into a mobile app. And maybe you will be the one building it! We are looking for an app developer that is not afraid to make decisions. During this project we will guide you through the necessary steps to achieve the goal of creating an MVP version of a mobile chat app that is connected to our back-end API. We are open to new tools, techniques, ideas and are flexible to make changes to the project so it fits your study program.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in making mobile apps. Even if this is not the case, the attitude to learn and the willingness to complete a project is more important than your experience.

Other things for you:

You will work with an awesome techteam at our office in Groningen where we have stand-ups every Monday through Thursday. Most of us work part time at the office and part time from home. When discussed a lot is possible. There is lots of focus on personal growth and direct coaching from our team. Also, it is possible to grow in the short term to the position of junior developer.
