A few typical Croatian foods are Octopus Salad, Black Risotto and Brudet. Octopus Salad speaks for itself. The Croatians eat it as a starter and served with potatoes, garlic, parsley and unions. Black risotto, known as Crni rizot, is a popular but sceptical dish in Croatia. People are sceptical about this dish, because it is unusual to see and eat black food. The risotto turned black from the squid ink, which comes from the octopuses in this dish. Brudet is a Croatian stew from seafood. The dish is very popular in Dalmatia for example. You can vary with the seafoods inside this dish, but usually clams, shrimps, mussels and white fish are included in this dish.
